Examples:

Ali said, “I am a boy”.

علی نے کہا، “میں لڑکا ہوں۔

He said, “I shall go to Karachi”.

اس نے کہا، میں کراچی جاؤں گا۔

He said, “I sold my car”.

اس نے کہا، میں نے اپنی کار بیچ دی۔

Examples:

Ali told that he was a boy.

علی نےبتایا کہ وہ لڑکا ہے۔

He said that he sold his car.

اس نے کہا کہ اس نے اپنی کار بیچ دی

He said that he would go to Karachi.

اس نے کہا کہ وہ کراچی جائے گا۔

کوئی بات بتائی گئی ہو تو Said to کو Told میں تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے۔

کوئی بات پوچھی گئی ہو تو Said to کو Asked میں تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے۔

التجا یا درخواست پو تو Said to کو Requested میں تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے۔

آرڈر یا درخواست ہو تو Said toکو Ordered میں تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے۔

منع کیا گیا ہے تو Said to کو Forbade میں تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے۔

پیش گوئی کی گئی ہو تو Said to کو For told میں تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے۔

دعا کی گئی ہو تو Said to کو Prayed میں تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے۔

خواہش کا اظہار ہے تو Said to کو Wished میں تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے۔

تجویز کا مفہوم ہو تو Said to کو Proposed میں تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے۔
