• بہتر ہو گا کہ آپ شدید برفباری میں باہر نہ جائیں۔

(نوٹ فرمائیں کہ not better for لکھنے کی بجائے درج بالا طریق کے مطابق Better for لکھ کر آئندہ آنے والے فعل کی پہلی فارم سے قبل not لگا نا چاہیے)۔

1 : (Past)

Examples:

• It was better for you to reach station early.
• آپ کے لیے اسٹیشن پر جلدی پہنچنا بہتر تھا۔
• The business was not as better for him as he expected.
• جتنی اس کو توقع تھی وہ  کاروبار اتنا بہتر نہ تھا۔

(a): ( Sentence in positive and Negative Sense )

Examples:

• You had better leave for Lahore at once.
• آپ کے لیے بہتر ہےکہ فور ا لا ہور  کے لیے روانہ ہو جائیں۔

(b): ( Sentence in a negative sense )

نوٹ : یہ جملے اکثر مثبت ہوتے ہیں۔ بفرض محال اگر نافیہ جملہ بنا نا پڑے تو had کے بعد not لگانے کی بجائے فعل کی پہلی فارم سے قبل not لگاتے ہیں۔مثلا:

Examples:

• You had better not go away just.
• بہتر ہے ابھی نہ جاؤ۔
• You had better not to wake the child just.
• بہتر ہے کہ آپ بچے کو ابھی نہ جگائیں۔
• You had better not to go out as it is snowing.
• بہتر ہے آپ باہر نہ جائیں کیونکہ برفباری ہو رہی ہے۔
